FOR TODAY, Monday July 13, 2009
Outside my window there are cars passing by, picking up and dropping off patients
I am thinking that I am so thankful for access to the throne of the Lord and that I can pray to Him freely at any minute of the day.
I am thankful for my husband and my family and my salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ
From the kitchen check out my recipe section of this blog
I am wearing black slacks, white blouse and flippy black sandals
I am creating training schedules for some employees to learn a new software product
I am going t Comedy Night with my husband tonight at our church. Sunday night service moves to Monday night in the month of August...Christian comedians brought in not just to entertain, but to share the gospel
I am reading Tour de Force and also Crescent City Courtship, both are authored by my friend Elizabeth "Beth" White, Christian author
I am hoping that Rob and I can get to bed early each night this week. We didn't do so well last week and we both need some rest.
I am hearing things in the political press that are disturbing and make me sad. Again, I'm glad that I can take them to the Lord in prayer. If our country would come back to the Lord and seek Him in prayer and realize their need for Him as their Savior, this world would begin to get better.
Around the house I need to work on some cleaning and organizing projects, specifically cleaning out my closet and getting rid of what I DON'T NEED! Someone else could be using it!
One of my favorite things is spending a relaxing evening at home with my husband, a good movie, our dog Buddy and the two cats (when they are in and out of the room).
A few plans for the rest of the week are to start on that closet organizing project. If I could do a little each night, I could have it knocked out before the weekend. Then I could take all of the extras to GoodWill during the weekend.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...This is where I wish that I were this week....in beautiful Beaufort, NC, where my Mother and Father In Law live!
