I pray that the Lord will remind me daily of the Christian graces of the words in Colossians. I come in contact daily with people that I know that I should be more prepared with my "answer" to them. It's not something that is a surprise to me...it's one of those things that we (as Christians) always know. Why is it that we get so "comfortable" that we forget the reason for our calling? The Lord has called us to provide answers when called on to do so...and I know that this is something that I should be better prepared to do. It's not that I have never given answers when called upon, but i know that I have many more opportunities to do so that what I take advantage of. These verses spoke to me deeply today and I pray that they will speak to you as well.

2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; 3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, 4that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
