I was so surprised (and so humbled) to receive a "Beautiful Blogger Award" from someone that I consider to be a beautiful woman of God. Her name is Marilyn, but around the blogosphere, we call her "E-Mom". She has incredible insight, unbelievable biblical wisdom and is always full of encouragement. The funny thing is that most of us have never met her face to face. As a matter of fact, she and I live on opposite ends (and corners) of these great United States of America. But even with that many miles between us, we are kindred spirits. We love and worship the same Savior Jesus Christ, which makes us more than bloggers...it makes us sisters in Christ. I appreciate her insightful posts....go check them out at CHRYSALIS. And when she's not at her blog doing some fantastic writing, you can find her over at Susannah's (Kitchen) Aprons showing off some incredible vintage aprons. All around, she's just a sweetie. Thanks for the award E-Mom....back atcha!
As part of the award, I believe that we are supposed to pass it on to seven people that we believe are deserving of the award and additionally, are to tell seven things about ourselves. So, for my beautiful blogger nominees, I would like to recognize the following precious ladies:
- Lynne at Spiritually Unequal Marriage
- Monica at The Homespun Heart
- Aunt Ruthie at Sugar Pie Farmhouse
- Karen at Living Life In Truth & Grace
- Laurel at From My Heart To Yours
- Susan at Forever His
- Melissa Marie at Huckleberry Prairie
I hope that you will take the time to visit some of these great ladies. I promise, you will take something away that you didn't have before. They all have something different that they bring to the kitchen table, but they all have a common thread of our Lord in their lives.
As for me, it's hard to name seven things about myself, but here it goes:
- I'm thankful for salvation through my Lord, Jesus Christ
- I have an incredible husband who loves the Lord and is the leader of our home
- I love anything and everything pink
- I should have been named Ellie Mae Clampett, because I love "critters" great and small
- I'm always wanting to go deeper in my Christian walk...deeper deeper and deeper with God
- I have an incredible family and an incredible church home
- I adore adore adore music
Who are the beautiful bloggers in your life?
