A Pair of Bartletts

Okay Okay Okay...I promise that I'm trying not to sound like a broken record.  But I REALLY REALLY REALLY like my new bottle of Mrs. Meyers Clean Day!  And as much as I like it, my husband, who has a very sensitive and discriminating olfactory system, has made quite a few comments about how much he likes the scent.  This is coming from someone who NEVER likes the scent of any cleaning products!  Rest assured, I sniffed ALL of the scents when I picked this up at World Market, but found the geranium to be SO uplifting (the rest are great too, but I fell in love with the geranium).  Even better, I got a steal of a deal at Drugstore.com on a few more of these products.  Turns out, if you haven't ordered before and you order at least $25, the shipping is free!  In addition, you can still get some great prices on Mrs. Meyers direct site here.  You can even get a $5.00 coupon when you sign up on her site for the first time.  But, since my first order was a little larger than a "maintenance" order, I decided to go with the cheaper deal at Drugstore.com.   Aside from the great smell, these products are also very earth friendly and safe around kids and pets.

The Simple Woman's Daybook~~Week of July 20th

 

FOR TODAY, Monday July 20, 2009

 

1. Outside my window there are birds chirping in the trees and squirrels scurrying for green baby pecans falling out of the tree on the front lawn. 
2. I am thinking that I have got to get my week organized quickly since I know that I have a lot to do.
3. I am thankful for the constant love of my family. 
4. From the kitchen...I hope to be helping my "cousin in law" Ashley make some fig preserves from the fresh figs on her tree. 
5. I am wearing my PJ's right now and about to go and get ready for work. 
6. I am creating a better plan to stay on top of laundry...there's always so much of it! 
7. I am going on a cruise with my Mom in October....I've got so much to do between now and then!
8. I am still reading Tour de Force and also Crescent City Courtship, both are authored by my friend Elizabeth "Beth" White, Christian author.
9. I am hoping that I can get up to see my brother and his family soon...Aunt Sissy is having withdrawals from seeing everyone! 
10. I am hearing some great sermons from around the country on podcast.  I have been behind on some of my regular podcasts and am trying to get caught back up. 
11. Around the house I will be switching out all of my regular cleaning products for Mrs. Meyers Clean Day (Geranium scent).  I am HOOKED! 
12. One of my favorite things is cooking something that my husband enjoys.  Even though it was just tacos last night, he enjoyed them, which makes me smile.  
13.  Here is picture thought I am sharing.  I'm so HOOKED on these products!  I wish that I had used this brand before now.  The essential oils in the products makes the clean scent linger so much longer than regular chemical cleaners.  Let me know if you have tried these or if you try them in the future!
